Touch Test Method

I just wanted to say that this app has really helped me out! I previously used reminders for watering and it was so frustrating when I was never able to get it correct, I literally can't tell you how many plants I've managed to slowly kill off using those stupid apps.
This plant guides "touch test method" has been a total saviour for me. I now check all my plants by feel of an evening and only top up the one's that are out of the recommended moisture range. It's been working brilliant, so thanks for a awesome app!

I'm another convert too. The store is flooded with reminder apps, but they are all fundamentally flawed because they rely on guessing the time between waterings and hoping it'll be right every time. There are too many factors at play for the water consumption to be the same one week to the next. Checking by hand regularly and maintaining the moisture is absolutely the way to go and I wont be switching back.

I too have been having good success with this method. This app's been a good purchase, I like having the pocket format for quickly checking what I should be doing

It's the ideal way to water as it all but eliminates the troubles caused by under/over watering. Water reminders are just a horrid way of trying to care for houseplants, especially for inexperienced gardeners. Fortunately this app doesn't go down that route and instead promotes touch testing which is good to see!

I'm currently giving this a go, as I'm really struggling with plants. The app has been soo useful for me though.
