Prissy Not sure if this is a geode vs vug or what. I acquired this from a shop outside of Austin, Tx but no longer have any of the identification info. [
spiritwalkvo Prissy This looks like a crystal I just purchased called Cobalto Calcite. It may not be it but is is mighty similar. I have started taking pics of crystals & their info when I'm purchasing them so that I can have a ready reference later. I will upload the pic for you to review & decide. Hope it helps!
Virgo9585 Same here if anyone could help identify these two stones I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Virgo9585 Virgo9585 I finally have identified these. Blood Stone & Yellow Aventurine, but I have quite a few more I could use help with.
Alison The first looks like bloodstone to me. The second one is unusual, do you have any mohs picks to test the hardness of it?
Virgo9585 Alison No I sure don't, I have been deciding on whether or not I should invest in some. I believe you are right about the first one and I finally found out that the second one is Yellow Aventurine. Thank you for your time and Help. Alisha
Virgo9585 Alison Hello Alison, you may not remember but you had replied to one of my posts and you asked if I had Mohs picks. I was wondering what they are and do exactly and where to find decent but affordable picks?
