sebastiangibbs Amano, ghost, cherry, bee and bamboo shrimp will all eat algae and detritus. For snails - apples, nerites, sun snails, malaysian trumpets, ramshorns should do a good job
MartieMF Just as an update, I bought a dozen cherry and bamboo shrimp and they have really been helping. I am considering getting some additional clean up crew now. Thanks for the suggestions sebastian.
morrisrussell which are the best of the shrimp choices for chowing down on green algae? If I had to pick one i mean
Arkinosa Amanos have been doing a good job for me, they're cheaper than cherrys at my LFS too. Not sure if the'yre better for green or brown algae though
